Straight Globe Valve
Straight Globe valve, most commonly used design (standard T-Pattern), providing large pressure drop across the valve. Bolted bonnet / Pressure seal, in a wide range of carbon, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, alloy and other special materials.
For Straight Pattern Globe valve, the horizontal setting of the seat allows the stem and disk to travel perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid. Due to its tortuous flow passage this design offers highest resistance to flow among all of the available patterns.

The Applications of Straight Globe Valve
Straight globe valves are commonly used in a variety of industrial, commercial, and institutional applications that require precise flow control. Their linear motion design makes them well-suited for regulating fluid or gas flow in pipelines, HVAC systems, chemical processing plants, and power generation facilities. Straight globe valves offer reliable performance and easy maintenance in applications demanding fine-tuned flow management.
How to Select the Right Straight Globe Valve
When selecting a straight globe valve, key factors to consider include the required flow rate, operating pressure, temperature, and media compatibility. Valve size, material composition, trim design, and end connections must also align with the application needs. Consulting manufacturer sizing guidelines and working with a knowledgeable supplier can ensure the right straight globe valve is specified for the job.
